Sitamarhi has a rich culture of folk arts, dance and music. It is well known for its lac bangles and the world-renowned Madhubani paintings are painted in many places of this district.
Air: One can reach Sitamarhi by air also. The nearest airports will be at Patna, Janakpur and Muzzafarpur. You will have to take a taxi from there to reach Sitamarhi.
Rail: Several trains such as Mithilanchal Express, Lichchavi Express, etc. are available that stop at the Sitamarhi railway station.
