Sarakiniko Beach, Parga Overview

The Sarakiniko beach in Parga is the perfect definition of the word aesthetic with its stunning white rock formations, clear azure waters and golden soft sand. It is located on Milos island, 12 km away from Parga, near village Agia. The beach has golden sand with many pebbles in it andclear and calm blue water with a rich marine life. Evidently, you can witness a multiplicity of activities here like fishing, snorkelling, diving, riding a boat, etc. The calm water which is not extremely deep also makes it ideal for swimming.

You can enjoy delicious local gastronomy from a number of taverns and cafés around the beach. The beach has splendid accommodation options where you can enjoy beautiful views of the beach. The name is based on an interesting folk story of the pirates. It is lined by stunning greyish volcanic rocks on its shore. It is advisable to carry a sunscreen and a hat, as there is very little shade on the beach.
