Agios Giannakis beach, Parga Overview

The Agios Giannakis beach or the Ai Giannakis beach is a spectacular but quaint beach quite literally immersed in nature. The clear blue water appears emerald green due to the surrounding greenery. It is like a small paradise as it is hidden away from the main town of Parga in an isolated corner. The water is not too deep and has a rich marine biodiversity, making it perfect for snorkelling.

The beach has a small canteen where you can enjoy snacks and drinks after a day of exploring. You can also enjoy relaxing at the beach at the sitting sets arranged on the beach. The seabed and coast of this beach is filled with tiny gravels. So, remember to bring your water shoes to the beach. The beach is not equipped with the facilities of umbrellas or sunbeds for rent. Thus, you must bring your own towels and umbrellas if you plan to sunbathe on this beach. The beach also doesn't have any showers or changing rooms. You can access the parking for a nominal fee, but it can accommodate only a limited number of vehicles due to its size. The beach is protected by winds as it is surrounded by high hills and on the hills above, a quaint church in memory of St. John is situated.
