Bomburu Ella falls, also referred to as Perawella Falls, is considered to be the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka; which streams collected water of about 10 small waterfalls from the height of 2000 meters above the sea level.
Located about 14 kilometers from the main city of Nuwara Eliya, one can expect to hike a bit through the forest but pretty scenic views along the way do contribute significantly in making the time go faster. Also, make sure to wear your hiking shoes as the mud here gets pretty slippery sometimes. Moreover, you can seek the benefit of the vendors selling tasty snacks and tea along the way.
