Olympiaturm, Munich Overview
Olympiaturm is a 291 meters tall TV tower located in the Olympic Park north of Munich. The tower is considered Munich's tallest building and offers breathtaking views. The tower consists of a famous rotating restaurant and bar located at around 181 meters in height and a rock museum.
The Olympic Park was initially built for the Olympic Games in 1972. It's easy to get there via public transport. The Olympic Tower inside the park has a fast elevator that will take you up to 200 meters at a speed of 7m/s, offering a breathtaking view of Munich. Some other nearest place of attraction is the BMW welt and BMW Museum, which is highly recommended for a visit and is only 5 to 6 minutes away from the park.
