Cinema and Entertainment

Cinema: Crescent Mall’s offerings don’t end at shopping alone. On the topmost floor, it has a Megastar Cineplex that plays all the latest releases. It has a great A/V system and plush leather seating to assure a luxury cinema experience. Due to its location in District 7 that is outside the city centre, it is one of the least crowded cinemas with tickets priced at around VND 100- 150. However, these prices are said to go up on the weekends. There are six different theatre halls here and 1,200 seats ensuring a variety of movies and timings. Better yet, there is free mall parking post 9:00 PM for moviegoers.

Crescent Lake: Beside the mall is a large, man-made lake called Crescent Lake or Ban Nguyet Lake. As one of the most romantic sceneries in the city, it is hugely popular amongst the youth and couples. The lake and its gardens offer a wonderful chance to lounge in the open, clean air and feel a sense of calm in the otherwise bustling Ho Chi Minh City.

How to Reach Crescent Mall

Crescent Mall is located near Nguyen Van Linh Parkway in District 7, close to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre. Opposite the mall is a popular landmark called FV Hospital. The intersection from the expressway to the mall is quite large and can get crowded during peak hours. The primary taxi stops to enter Crescent Mall are on Nguyen Van Linh side and Basement 1. As a popular commercial area, the mall is easily accessible by a variety of transport options. You can hire a taxi for around VND 150,000 from District 1. If you like to use public transport, you can catch a Ben Thanh bus going to Phu My Hung. The mall is a short walk from that bus stop.
