Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall, Genting Highlands Overview

Gohtong Memorial Park, located in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, is a tranquil park dedicated to the memory of Tan Sri Lim Gohtong, the founder of Genting Highlands. The park features a statue of Gohtong, along with serene landscaped gardens and beautiful natural surroundings. It is located near the Genting Skyway and Awana Skyway stations, making it easily accessible to visitors.

A wooden sculpture of Goh Tong sits atop brilliantly coloured flowers near his tomb, with a beautiful paneled backdrop depicting the landscape of Genting Highlands. A gurgling fountain and stunning views of the valley make this an ideal photo op. A store nearby sells quick snacks and souvenirs as well. One gets to learn about the history of the world-renowned resorts, theme parks, and casinos located within this cool highland area.

How to Reach Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall

The Memorial is located near Institut Aminuddin Baki between Genting Sempah and Genting Highlands Highway. It is close to Gohtong Jaya.

Car: From the town of Gohtong Jaya, the memorial is a 5-minute drive away. Taxis are available from many landmarks within Genting Highlands. Taxi fares range from MYR 20.

Bus: Take the BTGGH 270 Aerobus heading towards KTM Batang Kali, and get off at the memorial.

Walk: The memorial is approximately one kilometre away from Gohtong Jaya, so it makes for a comfortable walk when it is not too hot.
