Shimmering golden sand and soothing coconut groves complimenting its glamour along with crystal clear water make the Tagore Beach an extremely popular spot. The annual Karavali Festival held at the beach around December and January is one of the biggest events to take place here. Note that the beach does not have any food shacks or shops nearby so it is recommended to bring your own food and water.
Popularly referred to as Karwar beach, it is located in the Karwar town at the confluence of the Arabian Sea and Kali River. Famous for its crescent shape, the beach attracts a large number of tourists offering a splendid view of sunrise and sunset.
