Elephant Falls, Dalat Overview

Elephant Falls, also known as Lieng Rewoa Waterfall, is a great day trip from Dalat. The falls are named after the rock they cascade from, which resembles the head of an elephant. To visit the falls, hike down a narrow path that is slightly treacherous but worth the risk. You can also find your way to the back of the falls through a narrow ravine and a cave. The intermittent shower for the waterfall makes the adventure more thrilling!

The name Lieng Rewoa Waterfall which is from the K'ho ethnic language means Elephant Waterfall. The place is very peaceful and relaxing as it is far away from the main city. It lies in Nam Ha Village where Linh An Tu Pagoda is also located. The falls although quite off-the-beaten-track offer stunning vistas that are worth capturing in your lenses. The best part about visiting these is that it is one of those places that allows you to get up, close and personal with the water showers. However, be careful as the stone steps descending down to the falls are quite slippery and railing support is minimal.
