Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, officially known as The Metropolitan Cathedral and Parish of Saint Vitalis and of the Immaculate Conception is a central cathedral located in Cebu, Philippines. It is a metropolitan archdiocese and is a primary place of worship for the devoted locals, who attend the grand weekly mass in large numbers.
It was established in 1545 by the Spanish during their colonial rule, in honour of St.Vitalis. The church is known for its medieval European architecture, rich history and the central seat of Christianity in the Cebu province.
