Notre Dame de Lourdes, Casablanca Overview
The Notre Dame de Lourdes Church is a Roman Catholic Church in Casablanca famous for its modernist European architecture. Built in the mid-20th century, it is best known for its beautiful stained glass windows made by the French artist Gabriel Loire. Owing to these windows, the inside of the church is filled with colourful rays of sunshine.
The church, a sharp contrast to the traditional ones in the area, has a long concrete hood or entryway which features a Cross at the top. There is a small shrine inside where one can light a candle. Notre Dame de Lourdes Church church hosts Sunday mass that everyone can attend.
