Bursa Zoo, Bursa Overview
The Bursa Zoo covers about 20 hectares of green land and houses over 1300 animals of 130 different species. It is situated next to Botanik Park. Bursa Zoo’s special feature is the African savannah habitat for giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and storks to roam freely on grassy lands.
Surrounding the savannah are other African animals like lions, baboons, small mammals and birds. Apart from all the animals, there is a large pond for waterfowl and a replica of a traditional Turkish village.
