Karagoz Museum, Bursa Overview
The Karagoz Museum intends to showcase Karagoz and Hacivat- a form of Turkish shadow theatre. It is the only Karagoz museum in the entire country. It has two galleries, one of which presents itself with the history of shadow puppetry. The second gallery displays 61 Karagoz puppets that were collected from traditional shadow puppet theatres.
There are also newspaper clippings from the Ottoman era of Karagoz-Hacivat cartoons.
