Andulau Forest Reserve , Brunei Overview

Andulau Forest Reserve is a forest located in southeast of Kampong Keluyoh amd Sungai Liang. It has an elevation of 82 metres. It further has two recreational parks - Sungai Liang and Luagan Lalak.

Sungai Liang Recreational Park

One of the very first forest recreational parks, Sungai Liang is a hidden treasure in Labi. Earlier, built as an arboretum, the forest was turned into a park by 1970. Covering an area of 14 hectares, the park has species of trees labelled giving detailed information.

The recreational park has a well paved hiking trail for easy accessibility to the forest – which is idealistic for beginner hikers and thrill seekers for a short adventure. It also has a playground and swimming pool for kids making it a perfect picnic spot.

Luagan Lalak

Located in Belait district, this recreational park is part of the Labi Hills Forest Reserve. Covering an area of 270 hectare, the park is known to be one of the best places to experience Brunei’s vibrant tropical sunrise. The park has gazebos, benches and a barbecue pit for visitors to enjoy. Restroom facilities are across the road from the entrance to the forest reserve.
