Magritte Museum, Bruges Overview

The Magritte Museum in Central Brussels is one of the three Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. This tourist spot features some of the finest artworks of the Belgian artist Rene Magritte. The Museum speaks of his work through a set of impeccable drawings, sculptures, and other art pieces.

Split into two; the Museum focuses on abstract art in one half and surrealism in the other half.  Opened to the public in 2009, The Magritte Museum displays over 200 original Magritte paintings and sculptures. Housed in Hotel du Lotto, the Museum also comprises Rene’s photography experiments and short films from 1956. The visit also comes with an audio guide, helping you understand Rene’s story better.
