Cliff Diving, Boracay Overview

Boracay is known for its many stunning beaches and its adventure activities that can send your heart a flying and skyrocketing. One of these activities is cliff jumping which is basically climbing to any of the many high cliffs on the island and jump down in the crystal clear water. Especially favourite among the adventure junkees, the activity can also be enjoyed by anyone who wants to experience this thrilling experience. As the activity is performed in controlled environment, in the presence of experts and volunteers are made to wear life jackets, children can also try cliff diving.

There are several sites in Boracay where you can try out cliff diving. There are different planks attached to the cliff at different heights ranging from 3 m to 10 m. You can choose to dive from any height and it is completely safe. The water has enough saline to keep the person afloat but if you are still scared, you can wear a life jacket. Two of the most popular cliff diving sites in Boracay are Ariel’s Point and Magic Island, besides several others.

    Ariel’s Point is one of the topmost attractions in Boracay for various reasons including cliff diving. The diving height ranges from 3 m to 15 m. Along with the thrill of diving in the deep clear sea below, you can also enjoy a gorgeous view of the horizon and the beautiful beaches below from up above. Other than that, you can also try kayaking, snorkelling and paddle boating etc. at the site.

    Magic Island is another famous cliff diving point where you can enjoy the activity at much cheaper rates. The diving height here are 3 m, 5 m, 7 m, 9 m, and 10 m. Just like the previous one, here also you can enjoy snorkelling and a boat cruise.
