The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul is commonly known as Bath Abbey. It is an Anglican Parish Church and also a former Benedictine monastery in Bath, England. It was founded in 7th century and was rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. The architect of this huge structure was Sir George Gilbert Scott. It is one of the best examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture. The church is cruciform and has a seating capacity of 1200 people. It is an amazing place to admire the beautiful architecture, enjoy the wonderful choral music or sit quietly for some self contemplation. The Bath Abbey also has some tower tours which provide the visitors a change to go behind the scenes and look at a very different perspective from the abbey. There are 212 steps to the top of the tower and from there, one can get the best view of Bath.æ
