Kibithoo, Anjaw Overview

Kibithoo holds a simple, striking distinction: it's the last inhabited town in India, tucked into the Lohit valley near the Line of Actual Control in Anjaw district, close to where the Myanmar and China borders meet. Reaching it means permits and a long, winding approach past Walong, and the reward is standing at the very edge of the country, in a settlement still watched over by a small Army outpost. Kibithoo isn't a place with a checklist of sights; it's a place you go simply to have stood there.

Inhabited by two main tribes called the Zedkring and the Mishmi, this township is also popular for good craftsmanship. You can go for souvenir shopping here.
