Taal Vriksha, Alwar Overview

Around 20 kms from the main city of Alwar, there is a hot water spring known as Talvriksha. Nestled in the lap of nature, amidst emerald-green forests with the hills in the backdrop, the place is a cosy picturesque spot to spend a few moments of solitude. The hot water spring is believed to cure many diseases as it has medicinal properties. The place is popular among ornithologists and trekkers.

The premises also have two tiny temples of Goddess Durga and Ganga each and is thronged by pilgrims. You can take a dip in the holy waters or have a quiet picnic by the lakeside. It is believed that a saint named Mandav had sought penance here once upon a time. Then the land got parted and the hot spring came out.
