It is located in Urukunnu near Thenmala, about 2 kilometres from Chegannur in Alleppey. A popular picnic spot, it has an ancient temple on its hilltop, along with curious rock formations shaped like a frog (Thavalapara) and a musical instrument (Maddalapara), and views of the forest and the nearby Kallada Dam.
