Our trip to Rajasthan was a memorable one , since we are lucky to arrange it with Sun Voyages. Wish to come again to Rajasthan to explore more....

We had a wonderful Rajasthan trip organised by Sun Voyages, especially thanks to (Read More) Sanjay, who planned our itinerary very well. We enjoyed every destination and made beautiful memories as a family with our child. Our driver was also polite, well-behaved and helpful throughout the journey. One of the highlights was the cultural show in Jaisalmer. Although it was the off-season, the performers arranged a wonderful dance and music programme just for us, which made the experience extra special. We would also like to appreciate Sanjay for handling a situation at our last hotel in Udaipur, where a hotel staff member demanded additional cash. Sanjay managed the situation very well and supported us, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend Sun Voyages, especially Sanjay, to our family and friends.
Our main suggestion is regarding hotel selection. Four of the five hotels were s (Read More)atisfactory, but one hotel could have been in better condition. Although the hotel staff were generally polite and well-behaved, we would appreciate more care being taken to select hotels with better maintenance, cleanliness and facilities. Improving the selection of that particular hotel would have made our overall experience even better.

Highly recommended for anyone planning a Jaipur tour!

FAQs on Udaipur Tour Packages

How many days are enough in Udaipur?

For a comprehensive visit to Udaipur and its key attractions, 2 to 3 days are usually sufficient. This timeframe allows you to explore the City Palace, Jag Mandir, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. If you have more time, you can delve deeper into the city's cultural and historical treasures or explore nearby attractions. Udaipur's serene beauty and rich heritage can be savored within this timeframe, making it an ideal short getaway.

What is the best time to visit Udaipur?

The best time to visit Udaipur is during the winter months, from October to March. The weather during this period is pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C (50°F to 77°F). It is an ideal time for sightseeing and outdoor activities as the days are sunny and the evenings are cool. The winter season is also considered the peak tourist season in Udaipur.

Visiting Udaipur during winter allows you to explore the city's attractions comfortably without extreme heat. You can enjoy boating on Lake Pichola, visit the palaces and temples, and stroll through the streets and markets of Udaipur.

However, it's important to note that the winter months (especially December and January) can witness a higher influx of tourists, leading to more crowded tourist sites and higher hotel prices. It's advisable to make accommodation reservations in advance if you plan to visit during this period.

If you prefer avoiding the peak season crowds, you can consider visiting Udaipur during the shoulder months of October and March, when the weather is still pleasant but the tourist crowds are relatively lesser.

It's recommended to avoid the summer months (April to June) as Udaipur experiences scorching heat with temperatures exceeding 40°C (104°F). The monsoon season (July to September) brings rainfall, which can limit outdoor activities and affect sightseeing.
