Selection of private island at Mafushi, Maldives and accommodation.
We are not guided that we should first go to public island and then later to pri (Read More)vate island for present experiences. Further, in our stay at public island the hotelier provided pool with salt water. Pathetic.
Maldives Travel Essentials
Best Time to Visit
The Maldives is a year-round destination, but the most popular period is November to April, when the weather is dry, sunny, and perfect for beaches and water activities. May to October is the monsoon season, bringing short bursts of rain and more humidity. While this is considered off-season, it is also when resorts offer attractive discounts and divers enjoy richer marine life with manta rays and whale sharks.
Ideal Duration & Popular Itineraries
Maldives holidays usually range from 3 to 4 days, focused on resort stays and water activities. Popular formats include:
3 Days: A single island resort stay with snorkeling, diving, spa sessions, and leisure.
4 Days: A split stay between a beach villa and an overwater villa, with time for water sports and sunset cruises.
Top Things to Do
Stay in an overwater villa or beachfront bungalow
Snorkel and dive among coral reefs, turtles, and reef sharks
Take a sunset cruise or a private sandbank picnic
Unwind with spa treatments overlooking the ocean
Enjoy water sports like kayaking, parasailing, and jet skiing
Explore local island culture with short excursions from your resort
Why Book a Package for Maldives
Seamless transfers: Speedboat or seaplane transfers between the airport and resort are included, which can otherwise be expensive and tricky to arrange.
Split stays made easy: Packages often combine beach villas and water villas for a complete Maldives experience.
All-inclusive savings: Meals, excursions, and activities are bundled, offering better value than paying at the resort.
Special experiences: Honeymoon and family packages come with curated add-ons such as candlelight dinners, spa sessions, and water excursions.
Hassle-free planning: With resorts spread across distant atolls, pre-arranged packages ensure smooth coordination of flights, transfers, and stays.
