Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Pick Up From Srinagar Airport - Deluxe Houseboat

On arrival in Srinagar, you will be welcomed by our tour guide-cum-driver, who will brief you about your journey. The drive to Srinagar from the airport takes approximately one hour. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic journey. Upon reaching, check into your houseboat and enjoy the complimentary Shikara ride. Join the Dal guide in his Shikara (boat), and later, return to the houseboat to relish a delightful dinner.

Day 2 Day Trip To Pahalgam

Wake up early and energize yourself with a hearty breakfast. Start your day with a trip to Pahalgam, famously known as the Bollywood destination.
Optional Activities (at your own expense):

Pony rides to Baisaran Valley
Explore Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Aru Valley
Visit Pahalgam Club, Children’s Park, Zoo, and Golf Club

Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the Lidder River. After a day filled with exploration, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Srinagar - Gulmarg

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Gulmarg through meadows and mountains. Check in to your hotel upon arrival.
Must-Do Experiences:

Gondola Ride (one of the highest cable cars in the world) with stops at Kongdoori and Afarwat (at your own expense)
Explore glaciers at Khilanmarg and Afarwat
Level 1 snow skiing with a dedicated ski guide

Retire to your hotel for the night with cherished memories.

Day 4 Gulmarg - Srinagar

Your chauffeur will drive you back to Srinagar.
Highlights of Srinagar:

Visit the Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden, and Cheshmashahi Garden
Explore Parimahal, the music court of Emperor Shah Jahan, and enjoy panoramic views of Dal Lake
Visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple, dating back to 300 BC and dedicated to Lord Shiva

Return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Drop At Srinagar Airport

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.

What's Not Good: The agency could not arrange gondola tickets even for the first phase, though booked 1½ months in advance in Gulmarg.

It was an excellent trip comprising of everything a person can ask for. Excellent stays, heavenly food (we are vegetarians and were very concerned about food), mind blowing sceneries, a comfortable tr (Read More)ansport, all in a very affordable budget. The trip was very lovely and it was a great experience. Totally worth it. Thanks a lot to Journey Begins Travel and Tourism for organizing this. The organizers were really helpful and prompt with our concerns and queries. We missed out on few essential bookings due to lack of our knowledge and when we shared this, they went out of their way to arrange for the bookings and within few hours, we had our confirmation with us. This incident displayed their commitment towards travelers. Journey Begins really made our trip memorable. An advice to fellow travelers: Ask them for hidden gems and local transport for short distances. You would save a lot of money with their help.
