Day 1 Arrive in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at Kochi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Munnar.
  • On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & tea plantations.
  • On arrival at Munnar check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.

We booked our 10 day trip via Halu tours and it was perfect ! Booking requires a lot of thought and time to time management for a smooth experience and thanks to them we were able to enjoy a wonderful (Read More) time. Most important of all: communication- we landed- our driver was ready, he already knew our airbnb location and if there was a problem at all even late night our operator miss Anne would gladly help out. Next day our route was already set with stops in between for lunch and every single one of the tour guides provided were knowledgeable and friendly, they also helped out with other personal needs like finding places for shopping particular items. Overall as a family of 4 our experience was very smooth and we definitely recommend it to our friends ?✨️
