Day 1 Paro - Thimpu
  • The flight to Paro is one of the amazing experiences while traveling to Bhutan.
  • One gets a chance to view the Himalayas and other famous mountain peaks while flying on this sector.
  • On Arrival, you will be received by our Bhutanese associate.
  • A drive to Thimphu would follow this.
  • Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan.
  • The driving distance is 65 km, and the time taken would be approximately 2 hours.
  • Check-in at the hotel follows this.
  • In the evening, explore the local areas around the hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu.
  • The half day sightseeing of Thimphu will include some of the below spots: Kuenselphodrang National Memorial, Chorten Folk Heritage Museum, Typical Bhutanese lunch at the Folk Heritage Restaurant would be a great experience.

  • Next Changangkha Monastery Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion)
  • After breakfast, drive to Paro.
  • On the way to Paro, visit the Tamchog Lhakhang.

  • After early morning breakfast, you will be starting a Excursion tour to Taktshang Monastery (Optional at an extra cost, not advisable for senior citizens or people with health issues).
  • Taksand Palphug Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest, is an amazing Buddhist monastery, temple, and sacred site is located in the upper Paro town.
  • Built in 1692, Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated at this site for three years. Guru Padmasambhava is known to be the founder of the Buddhist religion in Bhutan. He is immensely respected and has a huge number of sacred followers in Bhutan.

What's Good: First things first Mr Pardeep(driver) have good knowledge of history and patient with us throughout trip, he is covering as many places as we want without any hesitation. Mr Kumar (Read More)gave us the joyful schedule of 5 days and 4 nights which include Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Had a good communication with both of them, I hope we will meet again soon.

What's Good: The response time and patience from Abhijit and his team are highly commendable. He never fail to assure me of the arrangement and decisive in his proposed itinerary. More importa (Read More)ntly, he kept to his promises. Understanding my concerns about hotel cleanliness and safety, he has selected the hotels which are truly value for money. I was recommended 3 tour agencies , World Travel Experience is the best.
