Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Paro - Thimpu

The flight to Paro is one of the amazing experiences while traveling to Bhutan.
One gets a chance to view the Himalayas and other famous mountain peaks while flying on this sector.
On Arrival, you will be received by our Bhutanese associate.
A drive to Thimphu would follow this.
Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan.
The driving distance is 65 km, and the time taken would be approximately 2 hours.
Check-in at the hotel follows this.
In the evening, explore the local areas around the hotel.
Dinner at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Thimpu

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu.
The half day sightseeing of Thimphu will include some of the below spots: Kuenselphodrang National Memorial, Chorten Folk Heritage Museum, Typical Bhutanese lunch at the Folk Heritage Restaurant would be a great experience.
Visit Sangaygang view point
Next Takin Reserve Centre.
Next Changangkha Monastery Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion)

Day 3 Paro

After breakfast, drive to Paro.
On the way to Paro, visit the Tamchog Lhakhang.
Other tourist attractions that you can cover in the half day Paro Tour are, Tamchog lhakhang, Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong

Day 4 Paro

After early morning breakfast, you will be starting a Excursion tour to Taktshang Monastery (Optional at an extra cost, not advisable for senior citizens or people with health issues).
Taksand Palphug Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest, is an amazing Buddhist monastery, temple, and sacred site is located in the upper Paro town.
Built in 1692, Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated at this site for three years. Guru Padmasambhava is known to be the founder of the Buddhist religion in Bhutan. He is immensely respected and has a huge number of sacred followers in Bhutan.

What's Good: From the very start i.e trip planning, to the very end i.e us reaching our home, Mr Bharat and AVTT representatives have, in my opinion - truly delivered. The itinerary was flawl (Read More)essly planned and executed, perfectly accommodating even the smallest of our needs along the way. We had the pleasure of meeting some truly wonderful people during our trip: Roma, our guide, was exceptionally generous with her time and always eager to answer our questions. I had always thought that tour guides were often hard to connect with, but I was completely wrong. Her thoughtful insights, engaging stories, and lighthearted conversations, often laced with humor, truly enhanced our experience. Mr. Bikas, our driver, was a great guy with some fantastic stories! We had a blast listening to him, and his punctuality was spot on—no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t beat him at being on time! ? And finally, Mr. Bharat and his family—it’s clear that he is incredibly professional and deeply passionate about delivering outstanding experiences through AVTT. From the moment I began planning this trip, I had a strong impression of his dedication, and meeting him in Thimphu only confirmed it. As for Bhutan itself... it’s absolutely worth visiting. I won’t go into the details here, but I’ll just say, "Make sure to visit at least once in your lifetime." All in all, it was an unforgettable trip, and I highly recommend AVTT to anyone planning to visit Bhutan

What's Good: Tour was proper Planed, Tour Guide is very Friendly. Hotel which we stay was not so good (food is not very tasty), but hotel staff was very supportive they tried to serve good no (Read More)rth indian food :).
