Day 1 Paro - Thimpu
- The flight to Paro is one of the amazing experiences while traveling to Bhutan.
- One gets a chance to view the Himalayas and other famous mountain peaks while flying on this sector.
- On Arrival, you will be received by our Bhutanese associate.
- A drive to Thimphu would follow this.
- Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan.
- The driving distance is 65 km, and the time taken would be approximately 2 hours.
- Check-in at the hotel follows this.
- In the evening, explore the local areas around the hotel.
- Dinner at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Thimpu
- After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu.
- The half day sightseeing of Thimphu will include some of the below spots: Kuenselphodrang National Memorial, Chorten Folk Heritage Museum, Typical Bhutanese lunch at the Folk Heritage Restaurant would be a great experience.
- Visit Sangaygang view point
- Next Takin Reserve Centre.
- Next Changangkha Monastery Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion)
Day 3 Paro
- After breakfast, drive to Paro.
- On the way to Paro, visit the Tamchog Lhakhang.
- Other tourist attractions that you can cover in the half day Paro Tour are, Tamchog lhakhang, Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong
Day 4 Paro
- After early morning breakfast, you will be starting a Excursion tour to Taktshang Monastery (Optional at an extra cost, not advisable for senior citizens or people with health issues).
- Taksand Palphug Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest, is an amazing Buddhist monastery, temple, and sacred site is located in the upper Paro town.
- Built in 1692, Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated at this site for three years. Guru Padmasambhava is known to be the founder of the Buddhist religion in Bhutan. He is immensely respected and has a huge number of sacred followers in Bhutan.
- Overnight at Paro

We loved everything about the trip. Me and my husband travelled to Bhutan and ou (Read More)r request was a very last minute request but the Tour Manager Mr. Bharath ji ensured a completely hassle free and smooth programme for us. Right from taking care of our permits to ensuring our safety throughout the trip and also till we reached our home Bharath ji and his team ensured we had a great time. Also would like to mention when I raised a request for Bhutan trip on Holidify me Bharath ji was the first tour operator who reached out to us with a perfect plan within 30 minutes.
The rooms were great and spacious. We being vegetarians were little worried about the food , but thanks to Bharath ji and his Team they ensured taking great care of our curated meals in all locations. Special mention to our guide Sonam ji and Our driver Sidhdhart ji, we started as a team and always felt we were traveling as a team. Excellent services and warmth. We became more like a family during the trip. I would highly recommend Bharath ji and his team for all ages and all plans to Bhutan.

Right from the planning stage, the team was extremely flexible and attentive. They offered multiple itinerary options and thoughtfully customized the plan based on our preferences. What stood out most was how patiently they listened to our requests and curated the entire trip to ensure comfort and ease.
All arrangements were excellent — a clean and comfortable car, premium 4/5 star hotels, and two wonderful tour guides, Mr. Sonam and Mr. Siddharth.
The guides were highly knowledgeable, considerate, and genuinely warm. During the 5-day trip, I learned a great deal about Bhutan’s history, monarchy, political and administrative systems, culture, traditional attire, food, and Buddhism. Sonam and Siddharth explained everything patiently and in great detail, making the experience both insightful and enjoyable.
A special mention to the beautiful candlelight dinner curated exclusively for us — it was thoughtfully arranged and added a truly romantic and personal touch to the trip. We also had an amazing karaoke night with the guides, which was incredibly fun and made the entire experience feel even more warm, friendly, and memorable.
