The Selva Boutique Hotel, previously known as Yunque Mar Hotel, is praised for its perfect location near the ocean and local attractions. The friendly owners are working hard to upgrade the hotel and (Read More) its facilities. Despite lacking extras, the hotel is clean and has a good staff. The new owner is renovating the hotel and making it gorgeous. The caretaker, Asceria, received positive feedback for being kind, personable, and accommodating. Overall, the hotel is quaint, charming, and conveniently located.

Affordable stay & clean

Location was good walking distance to kiosks and beach - We got in at high tide, so there was no beach right at the hotel (waves were all the way up). Playa Fortuna was about 100yds away and great for sea glass searchers :)

It met expectations for price point and location :)

The place is nice and cozy

I got to the hotel and was left a lockbox code ,but was never told where it was located. I stood out in the rain calling the hotel for over 1 hour and there were 2 other guests also . Then check in is at 4 but the pool closes at 6 And opens at 9 but they were cleaning it till 1030 am which is time to check out

Charming Seaside Stay near Rainforest with Great Pool and Patio

Really cool space with great location close to the rainforest and cool beaches, trendy kiosk area. Really quiet place, great view from the pool area and nice area to spend an evening. Bed was HUGE!!!

The place is slowly being restored/redone so you can see the vision but its not quite a boutique stay just yet. But its charming and clean :)

The new owner of this small tidy hotel is an absolute delight. Communication was excellent and the rooms, pool & hang out deck over the ocean were as advertised. Great spot for our first night in PR as it's less than 45 minutes from airport and set us up perfectly for visiting el Yunque the next day. Shot walk from the hotel to the Kioskos which has a wide variety of great food. Also around the corner from an A+ breakfast spot that also prepared us massive sandwiches for lunch.

The coffee in the morning was ok but could and probably will be improved. This place is gonna keep getting better one would imagine.

I loved staying here. It was exceptionally clean. The facilities and room are simple, but provided all basic needs. The view and location of the room were AMAZING! The ladies taking care of the Hotel were super sweet. Wifi was included, coffee in the morning and a small fridge.
