overpriced hotel in the perfect location with great view

wonderful pool, lots of space, quite. The pool is clean and beutiful, always open, comfortable seating area around it, view from the room was amazing

room decor is terrible, it is really outdated, the light is bright blue like in the new york subway, walls are prob from 70s, really unpleasant. furniture is also old

Location and view.landscape was a dream.

We loved the view, the hotel was beautiful, and the pool with the ocean behind was a dream. Perfect place to catch the most beautiful sunsets ever.

The bathroom had a shower with doors that the water leaked and made a mess on the floor.

I feel that for the price paid guests should be able to get a tea/coffee in the morning for free/included. I paid $4 20 for an Americano which felt excessive Need to seriously reduce use of single use plastics & styrofoam cups. No need for this. Loads of unnecessary plastics in the bedroom and all single use cups at the pool and for water at the bar!

Real deception.

Mamposteao rice in Brasas.

They don't honor the room selection made booking through third parties. So you never ever think to book through Booking. com, or Expedia or anyone out there because you'll have a surprise!! Also, the same room I paid $300 a night, you can find it at any place in US for $90. Never will book this place again. In spite once was my favorite!

Its a great hotel, NOT a resort.

The property was clean, the pool was clean, the room was clean. I wish there was more to put here but the only plus was that it was clean.

BEWARE - They will manually type AND SAVE your credit card information onto your reservation and then run it through the normal secure payment terminal. I attempted to explain how insecure this was as I work with PCI compliance and they were oblivious. I allowed them to do it since they said I couldn't have my reservation unless I let them enter it. I have canceled that card since I have returned. The overall property was small size for a "resort". The beach was apparently washed away in a previous hurricane as there was enough room for about 3-4 lounge chairs, yes that small. The hotel staff, while nice, was no where to be found. When checking in I had to wait about 10 minutes for the front desk person to come back to the desk, and this was at 3pm which was check in time. It was rare to see anyone besides the front desk person, I seriously think they only had 1 person working at any given time not including housekeeping or restaurant (see below). We checked in on Thursday and there were no bars open to get a drink, we had to go to the restaurant where the man was VERY RUDE to my wife and wouldn't even get her a menu. They didn't have any beachy drinks available only wine, beer and liquor which again wouldn't provide a menu. The rooms themselves where adequate however the AC was running nonstop, which itself is not the problem as we like the white noise it provides, because the seals around both doors (we had a balcony) were not there so there was constant outside airflow. The AC ended up freezing over and draining water into the room which we just put a towel over there but this could've been prevented with some door seals.

Nice hotel but not much to do

The pool area is beautiful and there is plenty of space to spread out. The rooms were nice, they are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are great, and overall the property is nice. The bar servers are friendly.

I'd like to see more options for vegetarians - that was very limited. The beach isn't that swimmable; it's pretty rocky (I cut my foot) and not easy to enjoy. Restaurant/bar was closed by 9 pm so there wasn't much to do after that (it may have been because it was somewhat off-season).
