    I would not recommend staying here unless you get a clear final cost, and they can put you in a larg
    The rooms were tiny, especially our beds. I had my two small children with me and the bed was so small it would not fit both of them. Bathroom was incredibly small, but the real issue was the horrible water pressure, barely any pressure in the sink or shower?
    You are forced to valet. thebooking.com price that catches your eye to begin with does not include all the extra fees like $45 a night valet, etc..

    The heater was not working, and the room was cold. The room is old. The fridge was filled with their stuff and nonroom for guests. The fridge has keys. Wow. There is no microwave, and vallet parking is expensive. No breakfast included.

    Location
    More information could have been shared about seating at the Library during New Year's Eve. We noticed some areas were being reserved with the use of table placard, but had been told earlier by the front desk that was not possible. That left us, as hotel guests, without seating despite the fact we'd arrived the Friday before. Subsequently, we spent the New Years Eve in our hotel room without the benefit of live music and entertainment, and has to watch the fireworks on TV since they could not be seen from our room (#325), after we'd requested a higher floor room when booking the stay.

    Amazing room. Beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Great bathroom with separate vanity.
    Another guests room service tray was left outside my door for 2 days.

    Historic Hotel Stay
    The historic aspect of the hotel was lovely. The lobby is beautiful and the Library Bar is a cozy establishment. Our room was very large, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great.The staff is welcoming and very helpful. There are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.
    Housekeeping could pay more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning . The carpets especially could be cleaned. Also trays from room service were left in the hallways all day. There was a nearby club that played loud music into the wee hours. One couple in our party changed rooms.

    Historic Hotel Stay
    The historic aspect of the hotel is very charming. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the shower was great. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.
    I think housekeeping could be more attentive and conscientious. Trays were left in the hallway all day. The carpets looked soiled in a number of places. The area has nearby clubs and the music was thumping into the early hours on a Thursday night.

    The vibe.
    While it is an older building and we liked the ambiance of it, there was literally duct tape holding things together. There were also globs of hair in the bathroom and in the bedding.

    Never again.
    The room was pretty dated, from broken lamps to non-functional outlets. The heat didnt seem to be working too well, and a closer look at the A/C unit revealed its clogged with a thick layer of dust. At dinner in the library bar, there was a cockroach crawling over the bar. I was offered to sit at a different table and they comped two drinks as an apology. Still not what I wouldve expected from a hotel like this. Disappointing.
