Disappointing & frustrating for a property of this calibre
My partner is a platinum member and Ive stay here many times and this was my worst experience. The goal of this trip was to come and have a night to unwind with a relative and we were so disappointed
The room service arrived with no cutlery? by the time it arrived our dinner was stone cold.
After requesting late check out for a sleep in we were woke at 8am by a cleaner
After spa use, we were locked out of our room In towels (we had both keys with number written) cleaner would not open the door even after ringing/texting reception, and trying to get authorised. Standing outside wet and my insulin pump beeping (type 1 diabetes) unable to access our room and told to walk down to reception!!

A great hotel with still some work on the processes of the concierge.
The king view room was greatly positioned to take advantage of the New Years Fire Works.
Multiple times of excessive wait times on the elevator, valet parking and even just to our luggage taken up or down from the room! Pretty significant downside to an otherwise great stay.

Pets are allowed in the hotel but not allowed in the restaurants.

Such a pleasent stay - staff are always so polite and genuinely helpful!
The staff are wonderful, the festive high tea was amazing
The pool was cold and not very enjoyable and the bar food was overly expensive

The pool and breakfast and staff
There wasnt a milk frother for the coffee machine.
And please WHY do you only ever get 4 coffee pods.
It takes 2 to make a cup.
It costs $8 for room service delivery, really!!! Its a $500 room a night!!!!

Attention to detail, friendly staff, incredible breakfast. Pool facilities amazing. Room remote control cool. Decor beautiful. Very special stay.
Minimal choices for room service meals/snacks for kids but loved the whatever whenever option, so but if a null point! :)

Unclean.
Location.
My room had used tissues and a used paper cup on the floor; the shower containers were not full making one feel like it was a shared brat house; and there were lots of cockroaches in the pool bar! The hotel had a lot of dark areas so who knows how clean it was? Staff were kind but I was not even compensated for the unclean room even though I showed photographs. This was not 5* or 4* service. Disappointed.
