The Vista LIC Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western is an older but clean hotel. It is a little further from Manhattan and can be more dangerous at night, but it doesn't stop the hotel from provi (Read More)ding good service. The view of the Queens Bridge during the day is beautiful, and at night with the city lights, it is incredible. The hotel staff is friendly and responsive, and the rooms are described as clean and spacious. Guests enjoyed their wedding night at the hotel, with delicious food and attentive service. The rooftop bar is recommended for the cocktail hour. Overall, it was a great place for a quick trip to the city.

Great location, hotel a bit under wheleming

Close to subway, 5 min walk

One of the rooms we had was not up to scratch and was cold, seems like an issue with the air con in the room and when we asked to be moved we were told it was not possible! That was poor to not even try. We were given heaters but at the price we were paying the rooms should have been perfect. Also rooms are a bit dated.

I reccomend the hotel for its location and cleanliness

Very good location, close to the subway. Safe and nice neighbourhood. Very clean places, friendly staff.

I wouldnt suggest to book the room including breakfast, since they have just one type of coupon for one specific type of breakfast dish and you have no other choice. The bar/restaurant is inside the building and is nice, so you can buy your breakfast every morning instead of using the coupons.

Relaxing, and enjoyable.

Our stay at the Vista was for a mini Christmas vacation. Vista was our base camp, and we had the best time! Under ground parking was a +. Bruno the bartender at the Sky Bar was top notch!!!!

Could have been great, misscommunication ruined the stay

Good situated hotel next to metro.

We ordered an extra bed which was provided to our double room for $20 extra per nigh. Our surprise was when we found out that the bedsheets where extremely dirty. We reported it to the reception (several times) and several times we were promised to speek to the management (plus reported the dirt in the bedsheet is not dirt but the filling of it moved from the inside) which never happened. Even after the stay we have tried to reach them showing the bedsheets and still no answer.

Overall enjoyable experience. Would stay again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fridge and microwave were available upon request. The view from our room was amazing! Theres a nice little terrace on the 7th floor for views and picture ops. Close proximity to subway. Very good for the amount that was paid.

A few nitpicking things that bothered methe pillows were very uncomfortable. They only give 1 face towel per room regardless of how many guest. Ice machines were not located on each floor. The design of the sinks were poor, causing water to be splashed everywhere on the countertop. Lastly, we had to wait until water filled (very slowly) in the toilet to flush.

Relatively low price for NYC and close to where I needed to be.

There was a portable AC/heat unit in the room that cycled on and off loudly through the night. It woke me up frequently throughout the night.

Decent distance from Manhattan and quiet hotel

Property was a good distance from the subway station and in a relatively quiet area. The bed was comfy and room was generally clean. We had a great view from our bed!

Not the best value for money but it was December in NYC so it is understandable. Hotel is a little old but clean enough.
