I recently had another fantastic stay at The Z Hotel Holborn, booking through Booking.com this time, thanks to a great discount they offered. I often switch hotels in London based on price and location, but The Z Hotel Holborn consistently outshines the rest. Its prime location is unbeatable, surrounded by cafes, attractions, and restaurants. Plus, the Holborn metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, making transportation, including airport commutes, a breeze.
One standout feature is the hotel's secure gate, which locks after 11 PM, ensuring safety and security, accessible only to guests with an access card. While I hope they'll consider adding a safe box in the future, the current amenities are impressive.
The staff's hospitality is truly commendable, always welcoming and helpful. Their cozy lobby is a great spot to grab food and drinks. My previous stay was in a quiet room on the 7th floor, which requires a stair climb from the 6th floor as there's no elevator access to the top floor. The 7th floor's advantage is its tranquility and minimal number of rooms.
This year, I was pleasantly surprised with room 702 - a spacious and unique two-floor room. The lower level houses the shower room, toilet, and a changing area, while the upper level is dedicated to a comfortable sleeping space. This room has now become my absolute favorite, marking it as my top choice for all future London visits. Its size and quietness make it a perfect urban retreat.
