We had two brilliant rooms at the Westin for New Year's Eve. Both were absolutely top. One, however, had the most astounding views up and down Collins Street. From the balcony, we were able to watch the fireworks throughout the city at midnight. Fantastic.

Lovely place to stay, but a bit pricey for what we got.
It was so close to The Regent theatre, where we were seeing a show.
I paid extra for 2 city view rooms and all we got for a view was an ugly construction view. I was better off booking cheaper rooms.
Handy location, friendly and welcoming staff who made sure are stay was enjoyable.
Every think was of a high standard, staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was to our likeing.
All was over and above our expectations.

Room tasteful and welcoming. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom spacious and clean. Nice view over Swanston Street. Gym was well-equipped.
Disappointed to be slugged with such a huge fee ($25) to settle the account with my debit card. This is not justifiable.

We stayed there and dined at Christmas Day lunch and everything was excellent.
The staff was fabulous. Our only complaint was lack of toiletries in our room. We rang asking for more and we were given what we asked for and huge apologies for their mistake.
