Such a beautiful hotel, with so much charm Breakfast was hot, plenty and yummy We would stay again for sure

Not much information within the room regarding the facilities The staff member who greeted us seemed very new and quite shy, they had to keep calling someone to answer our questions. But we got there in the end

An experience - has great potential.

The history of the place. The coffee in the morning at breakfast. The location is good for CBD but needs soundproofing.

The mattress has a hole in the side which had something sharp sticking out. The outside needs a good high pressure hose as do the lift entrances. The noise throughout the night. No breakfast option for coeliac. Could not control air con in room. Missing bits/hooks/covers on wardrobe cupboard and light switches.

Overall great stay

The bed was very comfortable and decor in bathroom looks beautiful with the black marble. The young guy at the reception area when we checked in was very lovely. Loved the later check out time of 11am which allowed us some relaxation time after breakfast. Room is very spacious.

Navigating our way to breakfast was tricky, there are no signs to show you where to go and no staff around. What appeared like the main door to breakfast was closed, the stairwell down to the dining area from our room was roped off and we had to go searching for a way to get there. Managed to find a back stairwell which led us there. After breakfast the "main door" had been opened. Also please note Booking.com is displaying the incorrect address for this property. It isn't 235 but it's actually 237

Very poorly maintained and operated, not recommended.

It is conveniently located

I have stayed at the hotel a few times. This time it felt tired and unloved. We only saw the receptionist, who could hardly be bothered saying hello. All of the facilities were closed and the breakfast terrible. Im not staying there again.

Bed comfy, close to city and Elizabeth quay

Shabby decor, stained couch, no tissues, cupboard door handle broken, bin in toilet lid broken, poor choice of teas and coffee, check in area dusty and cluttered, staff member at desk wearing thongs! Check in slow and crowded.

Waste of money

Hair in the bathtub, could hear noise from other rooms easily, was woken up at 1am by a cockroach on my head. I didnt up staying the whole night and had to find alternative accomodation to get some sleep. I sent an email to complain and never heard back.

Give this one a miss. Sad because it has potential.

Not much at all

We didnt get the upgraded room we paid for, this was blamed on incorrect information from Booking.com. There wasnt a 24 hr reception as stated and the restaurant and bar was closed all week. After having a hair in the eggs at breakfast we left after 1 night.

Old world charm with good breakfast and right in CBD

Check in was quick and easy, there was a lift and hotel maintained its old world 1920s charm. The bath was a real feature! Breakfast was a bonus! Good value for money.

The milk was gluggy. Can't open the window. Parking is expensive but it is the CBD.
