Location.

Water pressure very low take ages to have a decent shower. Breakfast below average same every day boring.Most of the staff were trainees.Front desk staff not very helpful. Stayed here 10 years ago was lot better than.

Really enjoyed out stay in Nov, this is the 3rd time in 2023 we have stayed here. Staff are superb friendly and very helpful. My mum (83 yrs old) stayed with us on a couple of days and the staff took care of her safety so well. We will defo be going back here. Location is ideal for shopping in TNagar, so many good shops are in walkable location. The spa members are very good too - the deco in the Spa rooms could be modertised; in need of renovation. The gym is small but was good for us, equiments are pretty new and well maintained. We recommend renting the car (5 seat Innova) from the hotel; our driver Vetrivel was so helpful and drove us around throughout our stay in Chennai. Highly recommend Vetri's driving so we will be requesting him as our driver during our next stay (i.e in 2024).

We were overcharged by 50 (Rs 4800). We stayed for nearly a week and had a early morning flight - so settled the bill in a hurry and we didnt notice that there was some charges for SKY; we had 4 rooms and none of us watch TV. Also, we had so many extra charges (laundry, room service, spa etc) so couldn't see wood for trees in the bill. Lessons learnt is to settle the bill, the previous night so we don't incur any incorrect invoices. And to double / triple check the invoices while we are staying in the hotel!!

excellent choice for a short stay in the heart of Chennai

The location and the service. The facilities in the room were really top notch, including the tablet for control that actually worked quite well, and the well-appointed bathroom and toilet. We went for lunch at the rooftop restaurant SKY and had a mix of Asian and Indian items. The quality of the food and the taste were both exceptional, the ambience and the service were also excellent. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff at the reception were kind enough to hold a medication for us to be picked up by a friend two days AFTER our stay, very unusual and much appreciated.

We were in a room directly above a party hall and the music, in particular the drums, was getting to be annoying. However, the duty manager acted promptly and immediately offered us a quieter room. Much appreciated. The room shade and the screen controlled by the tablet were excellent, but a minor goof up on the installation has left a large gap at the bottom of the window and hence, the room cannot be made fully dark: so you cannot sleep in late since the morning sun brightens up the room!

It was ok. We hope of feedback is looked at and addressed..

Sky restaurant exceeded my expectation on the taste of their vegetarian dishes. Impressed with the automatic toilet which was a first i experienced in this hotel compared to other hotels i hv stayed in past and current trips. Also one of yr concierge helped us to securely wrap and important parcel . We thought it was wonderful service on his part to ensure it was done .

Reception staff need to communicate with each other . We had to call hotel during an event outside to check on delivery of an important parcel. We were told there wasnt any . We had to leave the event and rush back to hotel to check on this immediately. When we arrived we noticed it was actually delivered and because there was no communication or check on this by yr staff we we told otherwise . This was really disappointing as to how careless the staff can be . We did receive and apology but we had missed and integral part of our event due to this which could have been avoided if your staff had done their duty properly. Also on the day we we arrive we were pushed Back and forth concierge and reception for our request to leave two of our empty bags in the hotel as we were checking out and checking back in on a later date. A sense of responsibility towards duty will help from your staff . Also staff need to be more friendly. Example their tone to no answer can be improved .

This Hitel USED to be have some good and friendly staffs I used to travel every month almost sometime with family but mo

The renovation is substandard

There used to be a book shop, good coffee, price hike to 100%, the club facility & staff is horrible, too many restrictions staffs are very rude, front desk not friendly, when called the front desk they cut the line
