Not worth the money. Booking this place through booking.com is of no use.

Location is good. It is easily accessible and 3 cars can be parked.

TOO MANY POSITIVE REVIEWS FOR THIS HOTEL - SOMETHING FISHY 1. This is one of the dirtiest places I've stayed so far. This is an old Bunglow, they try to keep the Bunglow as it is which is good. But the carpets would have been cleaned like 20 years ago. 2. They gave us extremely dirty quilts and pillows. 3. While booking they sent me pictures of rooms but while checking in they gave me completely other rooms and one of those rooms were the ugliest and dirtiest I have ever seen. Since the room they promised to give us was occupied, we couldn't ask for a change of rooms and it was busy times in Ooty so we had to stay there. 4. They serve dinner there which is basic rice, sambar, chapati and some curry. It is good but 250 rupees for that is way too much. 5. They won't allow you to eat non-vegetarian food inside the hotel, it is not mentioned in booking.com, they inform you about this after you check-in and pay the money. Which is plain CHEATING. 6. They say you are not allowed to order food inside the hotel which is plain STUPID.

Staying at this Red house homestay was an absolute delight. The service provided was impeccable.

It's a great place to stay.it was the best Experience staying there .Location is very beautiful and close to nature .These place is very well maintained....upon Arrival we were warmly welcomed .Ameeth is a great host .The staff was amazing .rooms were Spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place & and I would definitely come back to this place again..

I wouldn't prefer this next time.

It's placed at a very good location where u can find a lot of greenery around. Calm and silent. Nice breakfast.

Stinky room, Wash basin water keeps leaking and stagnant all over the place. No ventilation and the entire room has an unpleasant smell all the time.

The room was not clean enough, patchy walls, dirty windows, overall it was not a well maintained property. The staff were courteous and good but the amount we paid for our stay, I would not recommend this. We paid 4800 for one night stay and this didn't even include dinner. The complimentary breakfast only had poha and bread.

Cleanliness, breakfast option, not value for the money.

Late checkin yet organized well

In the past ten years that I have travelled around, I do not recollect a single place that served just upma as complimentary breakfast. (Even after asking if atleast egg will be provided, the caretaker simply said they won't).
