    Lovely friendly staff but some communal areas need some serious redecoration to restore this beautiful building
    Handy location and beautiful heritage building
    The first room offered was tiny and damp. The stairs paintwork was poor - spots of white paint splattered on the black making it look shabby. The stairs and surrounding paintwork was dusty/unclean. The carpets were very tired/worn on the stairs. The outside terrace furniture was mainly wrought iron chairs which needed painting - again, the lack of care with the paintwork and the overall decoration made it feel unloved. This did not create a good first impression.

    Quaint property, very nice. Peaceful and enjoyable stay.
    Prices for holiday period more expensive then they should be for the accommodations provided. Quite small room and bathroom.

    Very average.
    A very convenient location in a wonderful area.
    Hotel very tired and mattress badly needed replacing. I have stayed previously some years ago and I found the hotel to be charming at that time.

    The staff were lovely and the location was great. Across the road from Centennial Park and around the corner from great cafes in Paddington and Woollahra.
    We had a pet-friendly room. It was a very small, dark room, and a very small bathroom. The room needed updating. It was fine for a 2 night stay.

    Lovely building. Easy check in. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed the little brekky and coffee.
    Check in only available in person for a few hours- although apparently you could do self check in after 3 pm.
