Location: close to construction site so the views were pathetic and it was very noisy at night The service has to be improved significantly: I have to make 5 calls over a period of 4 plus hours just to get 3 pair of towels. Every request required a second reminder. The extra bed was delivered almost around 11:30pm despite informing them 2 days in advance in addition to a couple of reminders. Food: Breakfast was average and there were hardly any varieties. Design: We struggled to place the lid besides the breakfast containers while serving ourselves food! There should be balance between having a unique design vs practicality. Almost all the pens in the hotel dont seem to work, again trying to be unique with the design but failing to serve the purpose. Staff issues: The check-in person gave us wrong information that our package included breakfast but the following day they wanted to charge my room. We had to have multiple discussions to settle the issue, again unnecessary hassle. The staff should have known when we checked in. Yes they eventually didnt charge us, but the situation could and should have been avoided. Most of the staff seem to be undertrained. One staff woke us up at 12:00am to deliver water which we did not ask for. Ie wrong room! The gate guard always did not close the back door after the security check, so our alarm went on every single day for the 5 days we stayed! The gate security has to assist the guests and restrict traffic as the vehicle comes out of the hotel, but most of them were untrained and never bothered to do so. The manager realised that I had lots of grievances when I checked out, did acknowledge what we said. But eventually walked anyway without any closing statements. Just gave us some free elephant as a complementary gift . What kind of a response is this? So honestly the experience is no way near to what a 5 star hotel should provide. I would just give a 3 star!
