    The staff were very attentive (if a little too attentive). The breakfast was good.
    I really cant understand how Sofiana has such high ratings on here. One can only assume that because the staff are so lovely, guests intentionally overlook the awfulness of the hotel and award it a far higher score than it deserves - well, I wont do that. Its beachy. The whole hotel is beachy and by that, I mean, damp. The room we were given was dark, dingy and damp. Everything in our suitcases was damp after 4 miserable nights in this room (we spent one night away in a beautiful, dry, hotel in Hoi An, and were dreading coming back for the final night at Sofiana). The room was in DIRE need of a refurb, which looks like they started but got bored halfway through and gave up. The bed was insufferably hard. The furniture had seen better days. The bathroom was very odd - the sink in the bedroom, the shower in a small, dark and dank cubicle and a separate toilet. It was an adjoining room, so could hear next doors tv very loudly. We were glad to leave. When asked how our stay was, we tried to politely explain that the room wasnt what was photographed (there is a A LOT of editing of those photos, beware). Either the lady didnt understand, or didnt want to understand. Not sure which.

    The staff are super kind and welcoming. It instantly brings this hotel up because of them. From reception, front of house, restaurant to bar. Good people.
    the ac control for heat has to be controlled by the front desk. There were a few times my towels were dirty or smelled damp. The bathroom is a little awkward to navigate with shower, toilet, and sink close together. The windows are not double glazed, i guess, because it's rarely cold, but that means you hear the noise from the street bustle below. The rooms arent sound proofed so you hear loud guests also. I was woken up on my second night a few times by a family a few doors away. Also, the robes are old.

    - Hotels surroundings may be noisy and you'll hear it very well - Steam sauna had stone bench and walls that were ice-cold which is very much the opposit of what a (steam) sauna should be. - bathrobe in my room seemed to be washed but still had stains (non-removable I guess, but still) - my room had low hot water pressure, but it wasn't troubling too much

    Service is above and beyond! Super impressed!
    The service standard here is above and beyond! I'm so happy with my stay. Very comfortable place and good and quiet location. Close to restaurants nearby. The spa downstairs please look for Cam for massage, this young girl is one if the best messeues I've tried. Chris and the front desk team, everyone is sooo helpful. They will not let you carry your luggage even if you insist to. We checked out early 5.30am for a morning flight and they packed us breakfast boxes. Super sweet and thoughtful . 5 star service!!!

    The staff were amazing made some life long friends who showed us the local spots. The rooms were modern and the aircon is bliss Location wise you are 2 mins from the beach and there are many activities bars and restaurants. I will be booking here again for my trip in April
