Very good

It was a lovely stay, very relaxed and fantastic location. The rooms are soacious and cery clean. Two thumbs up!!

Old charm; location. Highly recommend it for stay. Breakfast was yum!

There was a musty odour in the foyer, a good diffuser or scented candles could fix.

Disappointing

Disappointing, not the standard of hotel the advertise it to be. Its tired and old and lacking in services and quality.

Size of the room

No concierge, no help with luggage, tired old carpets, took a security deposit without telling me. Booked a table for breakfast but it was given away when we got there, so had to wait. Worst breakfast of any hotel we recently stayed in

Superb

Old world charm

We love staying at the Stamford. Yes its old but thats the charm. We love the bar downstairs to have a glass of bubbles to start the evening before going out to the many choices for dinner. We love the view from the different rooms we have stayed in and of course the staff who are always helpful.

It was ok.

The location was excellent as were the staff. The bed was awesome and the house stafff who made up my room, good job.

You could put more than 2 teabags, that is almost mean. Jug, cups etc down one end, to fill the jug was down the other and fridge (I bought my own REAL milk) was in the middle. That set up really needs looking into. Cash is also on the way back which is what I bought with me for the bond so not happy about that.
