Superb

Great old bank, turned hotel. Beautifull style and decor. Great food at Riggs's Cafe. Needs booking at busy times. Very friendly staff and even helped with a late booking out. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Enough towels.

Perhaps a bit short on packing space in the room.

Nice but a bit superficial and missing a few essentials

It's well decorated and in a great location. We loved the free champagne at check in as well. Overall service was pretty good, staff was very nice and it was clean and quiet.

We had a lot of little issues throughout our stay. We reserved two rooms for a family of four back in July for December. We were never notified that we could not have four beds in adjoining rooms so we had to use a roll away bed. And I was told that we were receiving an upgraded room at no extra charge so that my children could be connected to my room without having to wander the halls. It was made to sound like they were doing me a huge favor when I had requested this from 5 months prior and was never notified that I need to upgrade my room in order to adjoin with my young children. We were told we'd get a bottle of champagne for New Year's Eve to make up for it, but that never came. The provided wine glasses and coffee cups were also never replaced during the housekeeping, after we used them so we had to drink wine out of water glasses and take turns drinking coffee using the provided Nespresso machine with one cup. One day, our room wasn't cleaned until after 4pm. We'd come and gone three times...Including out to a show...and it was dirty when we came back. The shower flooded the bathroom floor so we had to use every towel to soak it up every day. Although we were double charged for valet parking, they did correct it at check out. It was also odd that there isn't any dresser or storage to unpack into for longer stays. We were there for 6 days and it would have been nice to have a dresser. Calling the desk for service sometimes took a while, like to get a bucket of ice or an extra blanket. The only other thing I would critique is the lighting in the bathroom because it was impossible to get bright, even light in a place where I could get close enough to a mirror to really do my.hair or makeup. I suggest the hotel add a brighter option and a makeup mirror to the bathroom.

Very good

location, 10 min walk from the congress venue. Room was beautiful and comfortable.

The bathroom is really small. The entrance to the toilet or shower was a challenge every time.

Acceptable. Overall the price is compensating for the shortcomings.

Excellent location in Downtown Washington DC. Great Cafe and bars. Good amenities in the room. Great Valet service. Good service and food in the Cafe.

Heating system just through aeration (noisy and volatile during cold days/nights). Difficult access to Bathrooms with significant risks of injuries (severe fault in architecture). Completely not recommended for disabled, already injured or elderly persons.
