PubLove @ The Steam Engine in Waterloo exceeded expectations with its clean and well-managed facilities. The all-female dormitory was modern and comfortable, though there was occasional snoring. The (Read More)shared bathrooms were clean with warm water. The location was convenient for exploring London's tourist attractions. The staff and atmosphere were welcoming, with delicious food and affordable drinks. The main drawbacks were narrow room space and the lack of a lift for luggage upstairs. Recommended for budget travelers.

Very good

Totally enjoyed my first time staying in a hostel

The property was easily accessible from the underground station and is open 24 hours daily with food and drinks available

Just one downside is that there isnt a proper dressing room to change clothes

Very good

Good value for money. Would stay again.

Excellent, central location. Bar open 24 hours and serves food all night, albeit a limited menu. Staff were polite. Good value for money.

Bathroom wasn't the best, but it wasn't too bad either.

Good hostel

The bed and the pillow were comfortable. The hostel seems to be clean. The temperature was warm and nice.

Have one bathroom for the whole floor and it wasn't next to the bedroom. The beds have no curtains to isolate, but they are just details. It didn't change my opinion about it being a good place, and I would probably stay there again.

Good value for money, amazing location

Even though it's a 12 people room, it's basically divided into six people rooms. The bathrooms are good too. The location is absolutely brilliant.

The beds are a little congested, but they are comfortable. The washrooms are less compared to the capacity of people.

Nice location, calm and quiet place

Not enough bathrooms, even for a room of fifteen, two toilets are not enought and there are just two toilets for the whole floor of I dont know how many rooms.. Bunk beds are too cramped with three floors you cant even sit on the bed you need to lay down all the time. And there is not even a fridge for guests to store leftover food or any need. Not having a kitchen can be tolerable but fridge is a need for people who stays in hostels and are traveling on a budget. The hostel definitely needs improvements for a better stay.
