Fantastic Pod Hotel near Asakusa!!

It's a fancier "pod" hotel, and everyone was top quality (or I guess standard quality for Japanese standards). Everything was clean, and the pod was well designed with a separate luggage department. The common area is nice as well. Staff were helpful and courteous. It's got everything you need for a reasonable price. I would recommend (solo travelers) to anyone to give a try :)

The shower room doesn't have a super good fan, so it can get a little humid after a shower. With that said, there were a lot of shower rooms and it wasn't a big problem at all for my 2 night stay here.

Clean, but too hot to stay comfortable.

It seemed like a good choice for price, location, and experience for capsule hotel. Property was clean, and they had a lot of manga available for everyone. Even some in English.

The common area where you read manga and eat whatever food you want to bring had machines that only provided water. I was questioned about whether or not I stayed there when reading a manga. I guess its more of a security question but still. Check in was later than other hotels, and check out was 10am. No exceptions. The capsule sleep pod itself HOTTTT. I had to crack open my curtain (the only source of privacy) by more than halfway to get any airflow. Despite other reviewers saying that to just ask the front desk to adjust temperature, they refused for me. The fan button in the pod itself is useless. You hear a little wind up machine running when turning it on but it doesnt help. The heat alone made me want to cancel staying here. The slippers are tiny. Im only a US size 11 and you cannot put your feet in. The locker underneath your capsule is nice, but can be very noisy for everyone around you. The locker in the capsule to put valuables needs some WD-40. It creaks super loud. The elevator always stops on the check in floor even if you dont press that button.

Great location, convenient, and clean!

Good location, very close to train stations and Senso-Ji

This was my first time in a capsule hotel ; considerably less private than a regular hotel room, but I was willing to try it because my daughter really wanted to experience it. The facilities were clean, they had plenty of showers available, and the lounge was well appointed with snacks, drinks and spaces for working. They were very accommodating with out luggage, both with accepting our forwarded luggage from our Kyoto hotel, and with storing our luggage after checkout and prior to our taxi ride to the airport.

Have locker under the bed is very nice. Location is nice, just near station.

All beauty-care amenities does not provided (but you can buy in the counter), which is quite disappointing. The air ventilation can be improved. The lock under my bed is not working.

This was my second stay the prior was in 2017! If you are OK with sharing IMMACULATE bathrooms and showers and having a wonderful Private cube to sleep in, this is great. There is a lounge/working space which is very good I spent a few hours there each morning and evening working. But it is shared space. I was there for three nights, and one one night another guest in my 22-cube female floor was an an inconsiderate jerk who repacked with much noise until 2am. That happens with shared space and is not the fault of MyCube. The other nights it was as quiet as a graveyard . And I will book there again.

Very comfortable and cosy but no sound proofing

This was my first experience at a "capsule hotel" and I loved it! Underneath your bed you get storage area which was able to fit my check-in luggage as well as my carry on luggage. The bed itself and the pillow was very comfortable and it would've been perfect if it weren't for this ONE thing.... A guy snoring unbelievably loud in the same room. Your beds just have a pull down curtain so there really isn't any sound proofing. The facilities were great and it's not the hotel's fault the guy was snoring.

There's pretty much no sound proofing so you just have to hope the other visitors on your floor are quiet.

Great value stay perfect for solo travelers

I loved the facilities, near the train station and lots of nice cafes, restaurants and boutiques nearby.

The mattress was a bit thin and would wake up a bit sore but this was the only negative, everything else was great.

-You can keep your luggages under your bed. -Everybody stays in own pod. I slept so well, couldn't hear much voice from outside. -I needed to discard one of my broken luggage. Staff helped so well. -If you need to save money for hotel. I think here is a good choice.

-You might feel hot inside the pod. There is no fan in the pod. My friend doesn't like warm room so she found this so uncomfortable. -I can smell someone brought food to eat on my floor :( -This was my first time to stay in capsule hotel in Japan and I'll not book the capsule again lol. The hotel was great but I don't like you can't talk to each other inside bedrooms and can't bring anything to eat in room lol. This probably match only solo traveler.

Superb

Location and amenities. 2 minutes walk from station if you're taking the Asakusa line. Sensoji and omotesando also about 15-17 minutes walk. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. The common area is open 24 hrs, has water and ice machine, microwave, Manga library, etc. Great area for those who are used to a different timezone or have to do some work.

Some people weren't considerate and taking calls in their cubicles. Perhaps implementation of that can be improved
