A paradise

It was our first time in Maldives and it was like we got into a paradise. Amazing nature, comfy villa (toilet, shower, jacuzzi bath tub outside like in your own fenced garden), amazing beach, different birds (sea chicken), fish (sharks and manta rays, other colorful fish), flying foxes, beautiful swimming pools at the bar areas, friendly, helpful staff (especially Laurent, Genelyn, Morgan, Shiyam, Arushan and many others). Everyone smiling, trying to help if required, wishing a good day. You feel there like you are with your big family around. One of the brightest experiences was the night time snorkeling with Lara from the diving center - we saw sleeping sharks! Fish feeding at the pier every night - sharks and manta rays come every night as they know they will be fed. Coral reef around the island was amazing. Temperatures of the air and water were perfect. I am not a fan of the Asian cuisine but our dinner at the Tamarind restaurant was great, respect to the chef. This is definitely the place you want to come back.

It was a bit weird with free cigarettes - you can get cigarettes for free at the bars but they will not give you the whole pack, you have to ask every time for 3-4 ciggies. At the end I just bought a pack (12 or 15 USD) not to feel like begging every time.

11/10 this place is heaven on earth

10 stars just isn't enough. Everyone at the resort was wonderful and their hospitality and kindness made our honeymoon that much more special. We had an amazing time and have already started planning our return. Special shout outs to the chefs at lily maa and our best mate, farouk at the beach bar. Thank you Laurent for building such an amazing team and for making this a holiday we will never forget!
