L'Ermitage - Franschhoek Chateau & Villas is a lovely and quiet place just outside the main town. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they coped well with planned power outages. The view over the (Read More)lake to the mountains is unbelievable. It is well guarded for safety. The breakfast is delicious and there are many top-class restaurants nearby in the town. Guests are looking forward to returning for another stay.

Will definitely come back with more family to experience this amazing accommodation.

The location and setting of this venue is unsurpassed. The luxury of the accommodation was outstanding.

The in-house restaurant was a little disappointing. Running out of items during breakfast. Staffing on Xmas Day was a challenge.

The accommodation is beautiful. Great location

Service was very slow. It took 45 minutes to have drinks served by the pool. There were no pool towels provided. The room phones didnt work Disappointed that the hotel no longer offers dinner

Happy but certain areas of concern do require improvement to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

The Villa was beautiful, spacious and clean upon arrival. Location was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, and closely located to the venue of the wedding we were attending on the Saturday.

Our room service was utterly poor, came to our door to clean at 16h00, and we were busy getting ready to attend a wedding. Rooms should be cleaned early while guests are out of their rooms. Breakfast was not great at all given the rating and cost of the accommodation.
