Overrated and poorly managed hotel

Close to bus stand. Walking distance.

One of the worst four star hotels, I have ever stayed in. A painful experience explained as follows: - Crammed reception with open offices and overstocked shop right in the lobby - Hotel main entrance is hidden due to side entry - Rooms are really small and proximity to the main bus stand means lot of unwanted noise We booked a three person room. Upon arrival they said that they have no three person rooms, so they will put a spare cot besides a king bed. They see no difference between a three person room and putting an extra camping bed in a 2 person room. After showing them their booking.com listing for 3 person room, they said the listing is old and they forgot to update it. We could have booked two rooms if they were clear on Booking.com. They charged almost for two rooms but we had to stay with an extra cot in an already crammed room. Hotel's travel desk are not professional. After booking a taxi paying in advance for the whole trip from Mysore to Bangalore, the taxi driver kept asking for cash for fuel and toll. Driver had his lunch in a restaurant where we were eating. We were forced to pay driver's food bill without our consent. Hotel management is extremely unprofessional. Despite of making booking with credit card guarantee, they kept calling me and whatsapping me to pay 5000 as advance payment by bank transfer to guarantee the booking. This started one month before the travel date and was followed up every week. This hotel is doing business because of holiday season and lack of hotels in Mysuru. In Bangalore, you get much better hotel room for 3/4 price of this place. You get breakfast in a Dark and crowded restaurant. May be due to holidays. Limited selection of food. Too much oily food and limited healthy options. I would not recommend.

High quality comfortable property in a very good city centre location with very friendly and helpful staff. It was a bonus to have a pool in the hotel.

Clean hotel, centrally located, great breakfast

Breakfast was really good, especially the South Indian items like vada, dosa, sambar. But I dont understand why a good hotel like this serves instant coffee. Why dont you serve coffee from a good espresso machine? Coffee beans are grown in the forests just outside Mysore. :-)

Toilet paper were not change, toilet was not cleaned when I checked in. Room tissues were not available, kettle handle was broken, AC in 210 was not working. Breakfast spread is too less

Pleasant stay

Comfort and hospitality was great! Located in prime place still had a pleasant and quiet environment. Swimming pool was kept clean. Gym was also clean to use.

Nothing to say much, coz overall I was satisfied with the maintenance and hospitality. TV channels was not working initially then asked them to connect. They reconnected it.
