Disappointing

A disappointing Hostel

It is a hostel for long stay travellers, in our room there were people who practically lived there months ago, it is not a youth hostel, the beds were not comfortable and in their service they offer breakfast, obviously for the previous comments we did not have many expectations, but the first day they only had a pot of jam and a bottle of milk and the bread? it was expired 2 days ago, I expressed it to the person in charge (by mail) since it was a holiday they were not present in the hostel. He apologized and the next day he brought a bread that expired the same day and on the last day, the bread was good. However, one of the people in the middle of my breakfast asked me in a very bad mood, now if you are satisfied? and hey! I am not complaining for being annoying, I am complaining because I paid for the service. The other thing I didn't like was that the door to go out was through the backyard, a very small space where there were many mice.

The room was very dirty, full of dust, the bed sheets and pilow are very old, the hostel is above a pub, at night the music makes it difficult to sleep, the bathroom was very dirty and there is only a shared bathroom option between men and women.

Staffs were nice. One receptionist helped me to carry my luggage (warning: no lifts here). One helped me using the microwave. Price is good. They provided breakfast as they mentioned (fresh milk, cereals, and toast was new during my stay). Room is comfy.

Location is a bit far from the tube (though there's a bus station which is much nearer), it would be tiring if u carry a large luggages walking from the tube. Kitchen smelt a bit greasy. I stayed there 3 days but only 1st day have hot water in female showerroom. There's no lift and stairs are high and narrow so don't bring large luggages.

Affordable hostel for a short stay, not recommended for 4+ days due to low comfort

The hostel was above a bar which had a large event when I came to check in at Friday night. The rooms, however, were comparatively quiet and I was not disturbed by the noise at all. The baths for man and women were separated which was nice. And one had access to a small locker.

The rooms were ok, rather small and not very clean (there was trash under my bed from a previous traveller). Unfortunately, the beds weren't comfy at all, even in comparison to similar priced hostels in London. I had the lower bunk bed and couldn't even sit up in it (I'm average sized). In addition, there were no curtains on the beds.
