Great location and excellent customer service

Great communication with hotel prior to arrival. They addressed all my queries and concerns. Room upgrade on arrival and reception staff extremely friendly going out of way to offer assistance and ask about our day. Room was great size and comfortable. Great location as well.

We really enjoyed our stay and will most definitely stay at the Grand Hotel again.

checking in was extremely easy, seeing that we had a late check in scheduled. Staff sent us the detail to the safe and we found the details to our room easy. The welcome gift upon arrival was a beautiful touch and made us feel super welcome.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Staff was friendly and accommodated our luggage while we had to wait for check in on our cruise.

Superb

The owner, manager, reminded me of the ancient art of a great innkeeper hotelier. His interest in and care for clients was quite unique and much appreciated. Otherwise, the location, cleanliness, space, kitchen, balcony were much appreciated.

To improve? I did not see a usb plug in for charging though I assume one is there. With the black tea and coffee, I would suggest a green or decafinated tea for the evenings.

I didn't like they tried to pin me an extra $165 for a bed when they had already quoted me for 3 people. I refused to pay as it was totally unfair and then they said they werent rectifying the issue as they were blaming booking.com and booking.com was blaming them . And the grand expected me to pay for a mistake which wasn't my fault. Totally wrong.

Great stay

Love staying here. As we arrived on Xmas day there was a small staff party down by the pool. Denis invited us to join in, with offers to help ourselves to food and drink. This was very kind and we had a lovely time.
