Questionable Air-conditioning , HOT ROOM

Good location, good staff, good buffet breakfast , cheap accommodation

Inadequate air-conditioning in the room we stayed in. If the air-conditioning was better, it would be an easy choice to return. It was very humid in Bali , early January, and we needed air-conditioning to sleep!

Central, best value for money

I loved that the location was central. We stayed in a lagoon deluxe room that was spacious and very clean they clean your room everyday if you wish. Our room stepped straight into the pool, and even the kids can order their favourite mocktail and request their favourite tunes at the swim up bar very very short walk to the Beachwalk Shopping centre that has a supermarket and chemist on the bottom floor. Staff are amazingly helpful & friendly. This is definitely by far the best value for money.

It doesnt have anything for kids to do other than the pool.

Nice and family friendly

The pool area was great well maintained and they also had a small pool for toddlers. The pool bar was a great addition. Even if it was Xmas it wasnt over crowded and it is right on Poppys lane so you have everything that you need.

Probably the laundry service didnt work as well as it could (first time was perfect second didnt happen) so I dont recommend doing it there (as they send it out anyway)

Perfect

Absolutely loved the grand barong. Staff were always so lovely and chatty, restaurant was excellent. Rooms were huge and very clean. Perfect location with shops down every street near you. 10 minute walk to Kuta beach. Pool was awesome, loved how it trailed around the resort. Buffet breakfast was good, changed slightly daily which was nice. Would 100% go back and recommend to others staying in Kuta.

bad service shortage of hotel towels daily shower flooded charged for colour on sheets expensive pool bar since after covid no room in carpark to park a scooter due to this a car was damaged and we had to pay damage from a minor scuff mark security did not help us move bikes on many occasions disappointed with service overall hotel vwey dated and in need of maintenance and paint

we always stay at grand barong this experience was disappointing to say the least shortage of towel to rooms everyday expensive drinks at pool bar was charged doe a moped falling onto car causing minor scuff mark although no room in carpark to move urself nor help from security to move any bikes to help us also rude staff at reception which were less than helpful so disappointed wont ever stay again also rooms looking tired and in need of help didnt like anything to be honest
