The Garden Court Hotel offers modern, compact rooms with excellent rain showers and a free breakfast. One guest found it to be excellent value for money and loved the tastefully decorated rooms. Anot (Read More)her guest appreciated its central location and proximity to public transportation. However, there were some issues with staff availability and a broken elevator. The staff were lovely, helpful and polite. We even ran into a receptionist in a local market, and had a small chat. The room was clean and sufficient for holiday/business trips.

The room, I'm not sure if it was because of weather but, was too warm for me and my sister. We kept the window open most of the time. I was expecting a cooked breakfast too when it said breakfast was included in the price, but full english breakfast, for example, was not available.

A lovely, quaint, genuine hotel for Kensington Gardens, W2.

Great location and hotel has attempted to keep some beautiful original features of the original house. Decor especially in reception suits the style of the building. Staff are friendly and genuine ....especially the 2 girls on the Reception who genuinely wanted to help and were 100% fab!! A great experience.

MORE period, original features of the building (townhouse) should be reinstated/restored ...especially in the interior, communal areas. While the room was lovely as well, it was a quite hot even with the heating turned off and the fan on.

Bed is comfortable and the location is really really good.

Breakfast is poor. Only bread, 2 types of pastries, ham and cheese, milk and black coffee, 1 type of juice and yogurt. Banana and apple.

Mixed Delights: A Stay at the Crossroads of Comfort and Culinary Letdown

Enjoyed a two-night stay at this well-located hotel with clean rooms and a convenient elevator.

However, the breakfast left much to be desired. A limited spread of hard-boiled eggs, mini croissants, and sliced bread felt inadequate. Basic items like scrambled eggs or beans were missing a letdown for a hotel claiming to respect its guests. A more satisfying breakfast experience would greatly enhance overall satisfaction.

Compact, but perfect and well maintained

Friendly and helpful staff available 24/7, very well maintained throughout, very clean, comfortable bed, lovely old building, attractive neighbourhood with lots of places to eat, good external car park 10 minute walk away( Euro car park at corner of Hyde Park- 29 for 24 hours) Very good value.

We were all very happy with our stay

Breakfast was very good everything was available

Family room for 3 ladies and there was easily enough room for us all We had breakfast for 2 out of the 3 days there it was very nice plenty of choise Bathroom could have had a bit more room in there but no complaints
